In the interest of full disclosure…

I don’t leave my house very often, especially during the week. Sure, I grocery shop, but on most occasions, that may be my only outing on a typical Mon-Fri week. Weekends are usually for family errands, day dates and church.

This week was vastly different, not only was I leaving the house, but I was driving longer distances, being somewhat social, and getting completely out of my comfort zone.

I’m exhausted. 😅

YTHX was this week, so that meant dropping off and picking up the youngest from Charlotte.

It was chicken stock up week, so that included driving many miles to pick up the chicken, then drop off some at my husband’s facility for another employee.

I also met an online friend irl, we had lunch and went to a bookstore. That was a fun time. What is your go to meal when you eat at a new place?

Because I have so many stomach issues, I tend to stick with “safe” foods…this for me has been including shrimp Caesar salad, (sometimes with fries on the side). My definite to go, and it hasn’t let me down yet!

I picked up a copy of Happiness Falls, which has been on my tbr for a very long time. I can’t wait to read it.

How do you organize your tbr pile? I’ve got a master list on Asana that I use to keep track of my arc reads, series that I own that I want to read/re-read, and physical copies of books I’ve purchased/been sent from publisher.

It’s working out so far, but I can’t seem to bust out of this damn reading slump. It’s really bumming me out.

Well, this has turned into one big ramble, but maybe that’s what Friday nights are for. I hope you have a great rest of your weekend! I’ll be back soon with more life updates.
