Hi friends! How is your August going so far?
Well, we are 2 weeks in and our kids have started back to school.
It’s hard to believe, but we’ve got a Junior and a Freshman.
We also celebrated Eric’s birthday.
Enchiladas and cheesecake, oh my!
Not related :
I’ve got a master list of books that I’ve organized. It includes all of my galleys, book mail, Stephen King (reading through all his books again), and all the series of books that I have (or at least that I have parts of so far) that I am either re-reading or reading through for the first time.
I’m keeping track with Asana, which makes it easy to edit and move things around as I get more galleys or library books that have become available through the Libby app. (Anyone else have their holds maxed out and waiting on a list several months long to be able to read it? 😂)
So far in August I’ve read :
Bad Liar by Tami Hoag (arc)
I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh
Just the Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica
Death at the Dinner Party by Ellie Alexander (arc) and
The Chamber by Will Dean (arc).
I have DNF’d :
Same As It Ever Was by Claire Lombardo.
Changes moving forward
In the future instead of giving my short reviews their own post, I’m going to be grouping all of my reviews together in a monthly roundup.
I do short and sweet reviews, and they are kind of fillers on here, so I’m going to change that.
So that’s what has been going on with me, what have you been up to? Let me know in the comments below. 🌴
