Sermon Notes : Reverse the Ripple
• Joshua 4:15-24; Joshua 5:1
• Rocks have weight.
• Take responsibility for your ripple.
• You don’t gotta speak your mind outside, sometimes we need to speak to ourselves instead.
• Respect your calling.
• The ripple effect of thoughts, actions & character.
• The bigger the rock, the bigger the ripple in the physical.
• In faith : You can’t tell by looking at the rock how big the ripple will be.
• My rock might be little, but a little rock can make a big ripple of God gets ahold of it.
• Instead of starting with what you see, start with what God has said.
• Frame the fight you’re facing from a place of future faith.
• If I do not consider causes, I will spend my life chasing consequences.
• You can get all the tips you want but until you find the truth you’re not coming through this Jordan.
• You can’t fix the ripple til you find the rock.
• Ripple management can not bring you to a place of restoration, only temporary relief.
• Like quoting Bible verses on top of trauma that you won’t deal with.
• What is the thing that was dropped that caused you to do it.
• Before you get to Gilgal, get some rocks to tell your kids what God did.
• What God did, not what you did.
• We take too much credit sometimes.
• Sometimes you think it and don’t feel it when it comes time to do it.
• My stones will tell my story.
• My sleepless nights will give way to a new day.
• When you rehearse or you reverse it.
• Intentional.
• Numbers 13:31-33
• Bad reports have ripples.
• Why do you start with your eyes if you receiving God’s promises.
• If you start with your strength you end in defeat because you run out.
• Start with God.
• When you put the name of God on what you’re facing, it taps you into his strength.
• I am not responsible for someone else’s ripple.
• Events are not identities.
• 1 Peter 2:7
• Stop living in the ripple of their rejection. They are not your rock.
• How fast the ripple happens doesn’t always tell you how far it’s going to go.
• Sometimes the smallest pebbles serve the biggest purpose.
• This ripple will happen because of a stone you take out.
• Some ripples only happen through removal.
• God removes to reveal.
• Ezekiel 11:19
• John 8:3-11
• Who am I to label people based on their worst mistakes?
• Start listing what you’ve been through…
• Only Jesus was left because only Jesus was right.
• He took a stone, didn’t throw it.
• Stop posting to prove it,and pray about it.
• While you’re trying to fix the ripple, he’s trying to get you to drop the rocks.
• What God says about you is right every time.
