Hi friends! For dinner, I made Pumpkin Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Sticks. This recipe comes from Delish, which is my favorite site to find recipes. They have so many available and my family has loved many of the ones that I’ve made.
Enjoy my caption from my Instagram story. 😂
Now, full disclosure, my kids would not touch this one. They’ve both been a little ornery lately about what I’ve made for dinner. Neither of them wants to eat soup, but then the youngest suggested that I make another type of soup. Make it make sense.
Anyways, this soup turned out beautifully. My husband and I absolutely loved it. The pumpkin added such a depth of flavor to the tomato that I was no expecting.
I also loved the ease at which this recipe came together. It took no time at all, and tasted like it had been cooking for several hours.
I use the Ninja NeverStick cookware set, and it’s by far the best set I’ve ever owned. It’s truly nonstick feels so heavy duty. This is the the only set I’ve owned that I will replace with the exact one when needed. But I know that I won’t need to for a long time.
If you’re looking for a new spin on the classic tomato soup and grilled cheese, but still kind of want the nostalgic taste from your childhood, this is the perfect dish for that.
Leave me a comment below with your favorite dinner you’ve made recently. I’m always looking for new ideas!
