Hello friends! It’s been a while, I know. The truth is that I’ve been feeling very uninspired recently.
I’ve just been feeling like all of the content I’ve been putting out on all platforms is disingenuous.
So for me, 2025 is the year that I stop reading on a deadline. I’ve deleted my NetGalley account, and do not plan on putting out anymore book reviews moving forward.
Instead, I’m going with my strengths. Which, (thanks to my husband,) I see is cooking.
Now, I’m not going to pretend that I’m going to be making up recipes and publishing them here. Instead I’m going to be finding recipes on the web and social media and making them for my family and filming the process.
2025 is also the year that I finally start making sourdough. (Miss Phoebe Proof-fay) I’ve been talking about it for a long time, and my youngest child got me a sourdough kit for Christmas. Truth be told, there’s this scene in one of Anthony Bourdain’s books that has me totally intimidated, but I’m doing it anyway!
So that’s what’s I’m working on here, (and don’t worry, I’ll still be publishing my sermon notes if that’s why you’re here.)
Leave me a comment below with a goal of yours for 2025. I’d love to hear them!
I hope that 2025 is the year that sparks creativity for you and brings you all the blessings! 🏝
