Hi friends! Welcome to a brand new segment over here at Life With the Cupps where I re-create recipes that my family has tagged me in on social media. Then I let you know whether it was a love, or not a favorite.
Today’s edition : Giada De Laurentiis’ Sheet Pan Layerless Lasagna.
First of all, I loved the ease of this recipe. Not having to layer and try to evenly distribute the ingredients on top of said layers was a dream. It made everything come together so effortlessly.
My family loved this recipe, and in particular, my husband told me that it was the best lasagna recipe I’d ever made. 😱
The recipe starts by wilting spinach in a garlic/red pepper mixture. Then you cook the sausage and onion before adding sauce, cooked noodles and cheese to the same pot before spreading it onto a sheet pan. The spinach is added to ricotta and dolloped on top to give you that unmistakable lasagna flavor. Throw some more mozzarella and parmesan on top, and that’s it. So delicious, and so so easy.
If you’re looking for the classic lasagna flavor, but don’t have the time to assemble it, this recipe is for you. I’ve linked it above, so you can easily find Giada’s recipe. I made the recipe as written.
I will definitely be making this lasagna again.
If there is any recipe you’d like me to try, let me know in the comments!
This is a segment that I’m so excited about. I’m really ready to embrace cooking. Look out for sourdough content in the coming weeks, as well. 😉
