I’ve been in a reading slump thanks to a very slow book I was reading, but recently picked up The Unwedding by Ally Condie. I am absolutely devouring it and cannot wait to see how this book ends up. This thrills me because it’s been on my TBR since I saw it coming out.
I recently finished A Novel Summer by Jamie Brenner, and that was the slow read for me. It did end up good, but man, the first 2/3 dragged for me.
After The Unwedding, I’ll be reading The Guncle Abroad, and seeing as how The Guncle was one of my favorite books of 2021, I’ve got super high expectations.
Now, as for what I’m listening to.
I am a podcast girlie, pretty much exclusively true crime. So this week I’m going through the backlog of Crime Junkie. I don’t know why it fell off my radar for such an extended period, but I haven’t listened in about a year and a half.
