Sermon Notes : God Wants to Show You

• Romans 12:1&2
• What you think is hilarious isn’t funny to other people. 
• God wants to show us his will for our lives. 
• God wants to show you your next steps. 
• He wants to show you more than you want to see it. 
• There’s a lot of things that we have to do to get to the “then.”
• If you want God to show you the way, you need to go at his speed.
• You’re probably going to fast. 
• Slow down 
• Go at the speed that he requires. 
• The presence of Christ can be found in every moment of my day if I will slow down and look for it.
• We rush on purpose because it keeps us from having to feel and acknowledge what we are feeling.
• Exodus 20:22-24
• If we want God to show us the way to go we have to slow down and bring God into the situation and into your feelings.
• He wants to meet your right there. 
• Sacrifice
• You can’t rush it or ignore the steps he wants you to take a long the way.
• He died for all the parts of your life, not just the pretty parts.
• He wants you to bring it all to him. 
• A sacrifice is something valuable to you.  
• Release the idea of what we think our life should look like by now.
• It’s okay to acknowledge the disappointment and give it to God.
• Maybe God has a better dream for you. 
• God has good plans for your kids too. .
• We don’t need to tell everyone when we’re mad. 
• You can’t afford to stay angry because you become bitter and someone that you don’t even like.
• Frustration is not in the event but the pride in worrying about whatever everyone else is thinking about me.
• Surrender my pride. 
• Ask God to help you not make it about you. 
• When you get honest with God that is real praise. 
• It will cost something that hurts sometimes. 
• It’s a living sacrifice so it won’t stay dead. 
• It has to be a constant surrender. 
• You have to keep doing it.
• There’s life when you let go. 
• We cannot see God’s will without doing things God’s way.
• We don’t get to skip the part where we have to give God something valuable.
• See
• God is patient. 
• God will shift our heart.
• The situation might not change but our perspective might.
• Breakthrough happens when I stop trying to show God what he needs to do and I let him show me a way through.
• Put a promise on it. 
• The Bible is for you. 
• God’s promises are ours for the taking. 
• A sacrifice is often followed by a promise. 
• What is your word you are believing God for in 2025?
