Sermon Notes : This is What a Miracle Feels Like
• God’s got something for you.
• Acts 12:5-17
• Sometimes you have to get dressed before you know the destination.
• Feelings can be deceiving and delayed.
• If you don’t know what faith feels like, you can act like you don’t have it even when you do.
• Even when I don’t feel amazing grace, I’ve still got amazing grace.
• Most of the Bible stories we love to read, we would have hated to live.
• We think if the feeling isn’t there there’s something wrong with us.
• You can be in a miracle and not feel it while you’re in it.
• Sometimes it takes us a little while to catch up with what God has been doing.
• If I can’t describe it while I’m going through it we think God isn’t in it.
• It’s not until we’re out of it that we realize why God put us in it.
• The proof that you’re doing what you’re supposed to do is that a resistance comes to keep you from continuing to do it.
• Peter was in prison for fulfilling his purpose.
• The act of worship is obedience.
• The act of kindness is obedience even if you don’t like the person.
• The struggle proves you are growing stronger.
• When you got the ball, they hit you over what you’ve got the potential to be.
• Sometimes God sneaks you out so good you don’t even know you’re gone yet.
• A miracle feels like you’re out but you’re still running.
• Sometimes people don’t change but the God who never changes can take you in the same situation and nothing changes about the situation but everything changes for you.
• If I told you how he did it you wouldn’t believe me.
• You need God to bring you out of a prison.
• God do it even though I’m not sure you can.
• Sometimes a miracle looks like you’re sleeping.
• God says it working while you sleep.
• God is building your case while you rest.
• You might have the same problem but a different sleep.
• When you’ve done all you can do, sleep on it.
• You’re gonna need your rest for what’s next.
• I was sleeping.
• I was struck.
• God knows when it’s time for you to get up.
• Gotta learn to praise him when he strikes you too.
• Not all discomfort is a curse.
• That’s your wake up call.
• Some of the things we think are an enemy is actually an angel.
• How could you love your enemies if you don’t have any?
• Follow me.
• I was stumbling.
• If it’s stumbling, I’m stepping.
• You’re doing the good stuff and you don’t even know it.
• You are sowing in tears so you can reap in joy.
• It’s going to be God’s light and your legs.
• God brought me out.
• I can heal from this now.
• I’m still here.
• Mark 4:37-38
• Sleeping to show you what to do when you’re not in control.
• Isaiah 53:4-5
• Luke 23:26
• You can walk straight even as you stumble.
• I’m not stumbling by myself anymore.
• He never stopped.
• When God strikes, it is for salvation.
• The enemy strikes to devastate, God strikes to save.
